***How long have you been racing, and what types of racing do you do?
*******Been racing things outside of cars my whole life. Bought a Miata for a gas friendly “commuter” car… then I did a track day. The rest is (a horribly long and painful to my wallet) history.
*How did you get into autocross?
*****Did a few track days, thought autocross sounded fun. Tried out a North Paddock PCA event and got hooked.
*How do you get focused before/during an event?
*****I don’t really focus, I drive faster when I’m loose and having fun.
*What future plans do you have for your racing career (new car, new mods, new types of racing, etc.)?
*****Just drive more. I’m in it for the fun. I like driving other people’s cars swapping stories and learning. I enjoy instructing and teaching others too. The more people I bring to the sport the more I enjoy it.

*Where are you from, and how did you end up in Oregon/Washington?
*****Born and raised in Portland.
***Do you have a favorite hobby outside of racing?
*******Exploring in anything with wheels.
*What is/are your favorite food(s)?
*****My wife Hailey’s enchiladas (anyone who has worked in my garage and tried them will agree).
Editors note: I was in your garage, and never offered an enchilada. I feel a bit hurt now…

*1972 Ford F100 (still own it too)

*Bumpside Ford Crew Cab. Ford GT.
*Fact(s) that you are dying to share about you?
*****One time I almost beat Alex Paraskevas in Sean’s Exocet. I also rode a motorcycle from Portland to Nebraska in October… Only hit one snow storm.
Editors note: Almost beating him is basically beating him. But I think we learned last month that anyone in a Miata – real chassis or not – can pretty much take him… He’s on the list for next months spotlight. Curious to see how you and Richard make it out of that one…
